Zoe Savic.
“My greatest passion in life is helping people achieve their goals. Watching them grow in their successes is the highest form of acknowledgement of my own success I can ever receive.”
One of my “superpowers” lays with the ability to identify how and where people need help and delivering it beyond expectation. This uncanny knack of just knowing how to create, manage and support my team is what has made my career the joyous success it is today.
Today, I call Cogniom home and as Chief Operating Officer of our software start up, I stand at the core of our business surrounded by some of the most incredible minds and talents I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with.
With a focus on healthcare and the ability to service many other industries, we have developed software to digitally collect and analyse data to empower leaders and innovators to discover new truths that lead to better business outcomes.
For me, I have the privilege of building the business from the ground up, implementing policy and procedure, managing teams and finances and bringing life and a voice to our brand. My love of supporting others means my team can truly focus their talents on their own goals and passions that ultimately lead to our overall success.
While the world of healthcare and software development is relatively new to me, the practice of managing a great business and dedicated team is not.
I spent a decade as the Operations Manager for an esteemed real estate office in Brisbane, gaining my full real estate license and eventually becoming the Licensee in Charge. The skills and business acumen I built during this time set me up for great success and it was here I received “Office Support of the Year” within the largest real estate franchise, globally.
I’ve had the great honour of putting those skills to further use by becoming a mentor and advisor to other start up founders with my involvement with the Australian Health Accelerator program and the eHealth Innovation Jam.
As of May 2020, I can also add ‘Successful Grant Writer’ to the CV after being awarded the Advance Queensland Ignite Ideas Fund for Round 6.
My greatest passion in life is helping people achieve their goals. Watching them grow in their successes is the highest form of acknowledgement of my own success I can ever receive.
Some call it being organised and attention to detail, others call it being pedantic and a perfectionist! Either way, what I do works and more importantly I love what I do.
When I’m not working, I love being an Aunty to my beautiful nieces, to dance and listen to music, watch cricket, enjoy a bubbly beverage and find great quotes to live by!
