Well here we are. Our first Investment Round. That proud and nerve-wracking moment akin to something like a child’s first birthday. Or perhaps going on your first date knowing you’ve put on far too much aftershave.
Cogniom is 19 months old, has experienced four pivots, spent a year on research, enjoyed building our premier product The TANDM Suite for the last nine months (with it being live for six), watched the team grow to four members with a comprehensive Advisory board covering all matters of finance to governance, technology, start-up experience, and clinical expertise.
To say the journey rivals any rollercoaster ride on the planet is an understatement. I’m not going to lie, there have been plenty of nights laying awake wondering “What on Earth am I doing?” “How do I make this all work?” or just generally questioning my level of sanity.
Truth be told though; I wouldn’t change this for the world. The people I’ve met, the team I’ve created, the lessons learned and the difference I can see us making for people and facilities keeps me driven and excited and hungry for more. Ultimately, Cogniom’s mission is too important to forgo, and sometimes the change that needs to exist simply needs someone to step up and volunteer to make it happen.
The future is full of boundless opportunities, and several rounds of rollercoaster track left to travel, but I’m game if you are. So what’s missing?

Let’s face it, you are the reason why we’ve gotten to where we are. It’s time for us to take the next step, and while I promise to keep the aftershave to a minimum, I’m hoping you’d like to join me.
